Stanthorpe, where the fruit for this wine grows, is famous for their apples. The ruby red, juicy apples that were hanging on the tree ready to be harvested as the boys picked the fruit for this wine served as the inspiration behind this wine.

As the boys describe it, "We wanted to make something that was as fresh as those bites during processing."

It's a blend of mostly Sangiovese with a little Vermentino. The Sangiovese lending the bright red fruits, the Vermentino bring the refreshing acidity and some suculent tropical fruit notes. It's a winning combination.
